A human being without Christ

A human being without Christ may appear to be alive but in reality is dead.
A human being without Christ may appear to have joy but it is momentary; when he loses that on which his "happiness" depends (money, position, status, job, a loved one, etc.) the true nakedness of his soul is revealed.

A human being without Christ can look prosperous; however, his riches are merely superficial, none of them can give him what only God through his Son can give us.
A human being without Christ can consider himself to be in blessing; unfortunately there is no worse deception than the satisfaction produced by giving the flesh what it desires.

A human being without Christ can say that he is a child of God, but the way he walks and lives in this world makes him look like just another orphan.

A Christless human being can shout to the four winds the love he claims to have for God; however, the way he lives really shows how much he abhors Him.

A human being without Christ can do various works which are called "good", what happens is that none of them will be sufficiently pleasing before God because they were not done to glorify His Holy Name.

A human being without Christ can live convinced that he is in God's hands, when the truth is that his sin separates him more and more each day from his glorious presence.

A human being without Christ may believe that he is steadfast in the ways of the Lord, but at the same time his confidence becomes a deadly trap that leads him little by little to destruction.

A human being without Christ may know that He died on a cross and rose again on the third day; however, he has never experienced the supernaturalness of these marvelous works.

"God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in the Son of God will not be condemned. But he who does not believe has already been condemned because he has not believed in God's only Son. The people of the world will be judged because by their evil deeds they did not want the light that came into the world, but preferred darkness. Everyone who hates the light does not approach it because the light shows all the evil he has done. But he who practices the truth comes to the light so that it may show that his deeds were done by the work of God." John 3:16-21 (Word of God for All).
1 Juan 2:1-6 (PDT).

Heavenly Father, enable us to genuinely experience your Son Jesus Christ, for your glory, amen!
